WOODHAVEN
About the project
Creating a nod to the homeowners preferred vacation destination, while incorporating stylish curb appeal, was the objective for this 1950’s era rancher.
The plant palette was infused with tropically inspired accents to evoke the islands of the Pacific. Oversized floating slabs were designed to create a tasteful flare and to balance with the large windows that grace the façade of the home.
"Reflecting the character of a far away place was a unique design requirement. The gradual rise of the oversized floating steps and the tropical plant palette were designed to work with the rancher architecture and evoke an Hawaiian plantation themed experience."
– Logan, Owner.
